Hassle-free airport transfers from Malta to Gozo

Of course, once you arrive at Malta International Airport it’s only natural that you will want to get to your holiday home on Gozo as quickly and as easily as possible.

The good news is that we offer our guests a choice of a direct private transfer service which takes you from the airport, via the 25-minute ferry crossing, and straight to your Baron Holiday Home on Gozo.

We can organise for one of our trusted, friendly drivers to greet you at Malta airport with a van and travel with you all the way to your Baron Holiday Home. This saves you time and hassle – particularly if you are travelling with lots of luggage: as it’s loaded onto the van at the airport and unloaded at your Baron Holiday villa or farmhouse. Our guests find this service especially useful when arriving in Malta at night.

Some guests choose to book a split transfer service, which involves a driver and van to meet you at Malta airport and take you to the ferry and another van to meet you at Mġarr Harbour. Although this works out cheaper, guests will need to unload their luggage and board the ferry on foot and then load their luggage again onto the van that greets them once they arrive in Gozo.

The ferry crossing to Gozo runs around the clock and through the night. The crossing is easy and enjoyable – plus there is free wi-fi offered in the ferry terminals as well as on board. This video clip shows you just how easy it is to get to your Baron Holiday Home on Gozo once you arrive at Malta Airport:

Cost-effective and secure car hire

We also offer a car hire service and we can deliver and pick up free of charge at your Baron Holiday Home.

Booking car hire through Baron Holiday Homes is not only cheaper through our trusted local partner of 20 years (security deposit only costs €200 compared to up to £1,000 via agencies at Malta Airport) but our guests also benefit from quick, local roadside assistance. Our 2018 car hire rates can be browsed here.

See our website for more details about getting to Gozo, including our rates for direct airport transfers, car hire, and a welcome pack of basic groceries.
