Ta Rena boasts one of the best vantage points in all of Gozo, with panoramic views of the countryside from the pool and also from the roof top terraces, yet it’s just a short stroll to the bars, shops and restaurants of Nadur.
This converted farmhouse has been renovated tastefully, leaving its original old features intact, thus retaining its appeal and rustic architecture for the enjoyment and discovery of the younger generation. This property is equipped with all modern amenities for a comfortable, complete holiday.
The entrance, with its imposing stone arches leads to a limestone staircase and two ground floor bedrooms, one double and one twin. A family bathroom completes this floor.
Once up the wide limestone staircase, the floor opens to a wide living/dining/kitchen area. Large shutter-style windows open out to the pool, bringing Ta Rena’s spectacular views indoors. A double bedroom with ensuite facilities and a family bathroom complete this floor.
The second floor has been just added with a 4th bedroom with ensuite facilities and a large terrace overlooking the spectacular views.
Pool Dimensions - 6 x 3 Meters
Included in this accommodation: All beds will be prepared with the appropriate bed linen, along with extra blankets in the wardrobes should you need further layers. In addition to this, you will also be provided with 2 towels per person – which will be placed on the beds ready for use.
The bedrooms are equipped with AC units that are available with an electronic coin system (€1 & €2 coins) installed at property with a screen to display the credit remaining, each AC unit consumes around € 2 per night.
We will also provide all bookings with 1x dishwasher tablet and 1x washing machine tablet per night of your stay.
Maid service is included when you book for 7 nights or more.

There is a famous local bakery called Mekren just situated 300m away from property, which is strongly recommended.
Nadur is situated on the easternmost hill of the small island of Gozo, Malta's sister-island. Nadur, a lofty, lookout plateau, has a population of around 4,000 people which makes Nadur one of the largest localities in Gozo. The feast of Nadur ""Mnarja""is celebrated on the 29th of June and by the 1720's a beautiful area known as ""Il-Buskett"" (meaning little forest) was the site of the celebrations.
The feast was very popular with honeymooners and it's name seems to suggest that there is a possible connection with the beginning of Summer. It is derived from luminaria (illumination), and in fact it is a festival rooted in Maltese seasonal rituals and customs.

“The farmhouse is very traditional in style and has a very good layout with multiple modern bathrooms to serve all guests well. The kitchen is very well equipped with anything you might need and breathtaking views from the living area and terraces. The only issue we had was the living area door which needs better insulation as drought comes through it on windy days. Other than that the place is very welcoming and lovely to stay in.”

“We arrived at 3.40pm in front of property which was ready to move in however could not contact representative and only exactly at 4pm was phone on and we were given key code. Since property was available it would have been nice to enter earlier morese since we had to vacate at 10am. Some more consideration towards guests would be appreciated.
Would recommend towels are sealed in bag and not left individually. Not comfortable at all under current Covid situation. Ended up washing them before use. Otherwise lovely property (Ta Rena in Nadur). Pool area a bit on small side but view made up for it. Enjoyed our stay. Will definitely recommend.”

We try to meet all guests arriving up to 19:00 hours for check in at the property. Guests that are arriving after 19:00 will be given a link with directions and a 4-digit code to retrieve the key which will open the front door. Please view our Arrival details form
No fees charged for bookings cancelled within 48 hours of booking, not applicable for bookings done 48 hours from arrival date.
We strongly advise all guests to purchase travel insurance, in case of the unfortunate event in which you need to cancel your holiday.
All requests to cancel a booking must be made in writing and must be signed by the person who made the booking. You must then post or email the request to Baron Holiday Homes.
If your request to cancel your booking is received more than 180 days before the booking was due to start, we will refund your deposit in full.
Requests to cancel a booking received between 30 and 179 days before the booking was due to start will incur a penalty charge of 10% of the deposit. The remainder of the deposit will ONLY be refunded if the accommodation is re-let for the full period of the intended stay.
Requests to cancel a booking received less than 30 days before the booking was due to start, will incur a penalty charge of 10% of the whole amount already paid.

Infants and extra beds
All children are welcome.
Children under 2 years at check in, stay free of charge when sleeping with parents or in a baby cot. We can offer 1 baby cot free of charge, additional baby cots are charged at €5 per night (these will include bed linen and 2 towels)
Folding beds can be provided for you, at an extra charge of € 10 per night.
Any type of extra bed or child's cot/crib is subject to availability, which subsequently needs to be confirmed by management in writing. All requests must be made at least 1 week prior to your arrival date.
Pets are allowed on request and must be approved in writing, if approved there is € 15 per night fee, capped at € 45 total.
Parties/events are not allowed, under any circumstances.
The wonderful island of Gozo is a small tranquil place. In order to ensure you don’t disturb the local surroundings, we kindly recommend that you keep the volume down at all times - especially between 22:00 and 9am.
Environmental contribution (ECO tax)
The contribution is payable by all tourists who are 18 years or older irrespective of nationality (including locals). It amounts to €0.50 per person for each night payable in cash at check in, spent on the Maltese Islands at any type of accommodation. The contribution is capped at a maximum of €5 for each continuous stay. This applies also to twin-centre stays in Malta and Gozo.
