A beautifully designed villa finished in a semi rustic style, enjoying wonderful country views and furnished exquisitely with all modern amenities. Located in the heart of rural Gozo, everything is planned at giving the visitor an experience in luxurious comfort in a relaxing atmosphere, so typical in Gozitan village life.
This light-filled property is located in the tiny village of Ghasri. You enter into a large living and dining area giving onto the private pool with country views as a backdrop. The property also enjoys three private terraces, including a roof terrace with 180-degree views.
The property sleeps 8 people in 4 bedrooms, one of which is situated on the ground floor with an adjacent separate family bathroom. Three other bedrooms occupy the first floor. One is ensuite with a view and the other two bedrooms are served by a separate bathroom.
Air-Conditioning units are available with an electronic coin system (€1 & €2 coins).Each AC unit consumes around €2 per night.
There is a two-car underground garage with private access from the residence.
Pool Dimensions - 7.5 x 3.9 Meters
Included in this accommodation: All beds will be prepared with the appropriate bed linen, along with extra blankets in the wardrobes should you need further layers. In addition to this, you will also be provided with 2 towels per person – which will be placed on the beds ready for use.
Maid service is included when you book for 7 nights or more.
We will also provide all bookings with 1x dishwasher tablet and 1x washing machine tablet per night of your stay.

The village is dominated by Ta’ Gurdan (the Gordan) lighthouse which stand at the top of Ġurdan Hill above the village. The famous lighthouse rises 180 metres above sea level and was inaugurated in 1853. Its beam could be seen up to 50 kilometres away. From the hill around the lighthouse there are marvellous 360 degree views of Gozo – well worth the walk up.
From Għasri Village Square, a road leads to the fabulous valley of Wied il-Għasri. The Wied l-Għasri area is marvellous for country walks and cycling, especially in Winter and Spring. The valley opens onto the sea between high cliffs, and the secluded little inlet here is ideal for swimming, snorkelling and diving.

Kindly note that price does not include Malta Eco Tax, we are required by law to collect it on arrival from all tourists, including locals from the age of 18 and over. This is paid locally in cash only and collected at check in by one of our staff.

“Excellent service as always. Tfiefa farmhouse was a lovely home, had an amazing deck and pool area which we really recommend to visit in the summer months! “We always stay with Baron Homes when we come to Gozo and this was the first time we had stayed at Tfiefa. The house was bright and very clean with no major issues. Small downsides included the hot water running out occasionally and the garage door being slightly temperamental. The kitchen was also not incredibly well equipped. However, the pool is lovely, the views are incredible, the place is peaceful and quiet. The beds were comfortable, the showers and baths all worked very well and the large open plan kitchen and dining areas leading to the garden was an excellent play space for the kids. The cleaners helped to keep the place nice and tidy over our two week stay. The owners also helpfully left laundry and dishwasher tabs for us. Recommended. ”
“We really enjoyed our stay, everywhere was clean. Just a couple of points I would like to mention, alot of the black out curtains are torn and not properly hung. Also the baby mattress needs to be replaced as it was all black and dirty and not hygienic at all for a baby to be sleeping on. Thank you ”

“Let me start by saying we had an excellent break and an overwhelmingly positive experience .Really enjoyable , we found the home cleaned well the pool was spotless and when we noticed that the pool shower was broken some one came over in minutes , so again thanks very much . Being in the rental industry ourselves we appreciate constructive feedback .
A few comments I would make are .
Being 8 people we found that the size of the fridge a tad on the small side .
The mattress in the bedroom with the larger balcony has a dip in the middle . Anyone sharing that and does not want to get close 😊 to the other person will find it difficult.
The key lock box outside can cause some problems I actually called Sue as I thought we had a wrong code but the number was correct and it opened on the third attempt.
The garage remote seems like it needs a new battery or replacing as it would not open the shutter from the street.
And lastly the palm trees in the pool area and this comes from personal experience as one of our restaurants is situated on a busy pedestrian area in San Pawl il Bahar should be trimmed from the white branches which are a magnet for wasps and bees and can cause all kinds of damage to the pool pump system.
early June is the optimum time to do it.
I stress that these suggestions did not impact our stay but might future guests.

“We really enjoyed our stay at tfiefa. What was a bit disappointment was the condition of the kitchen appliances, microwave and hob doesn't function properly. A functional shower in the pool area would also be very useful. Thanks and regards Shanelle”
“We enjoyed our stay in Ta' Tfiefa. Excellent service as always.
Suggestions to improve:
1. The tiles next to the pool are slippery. Our children were slipping even when just walking. Please improve safety next to the pool.
2. A lot of water is wasted in the pool. If it is filled a little less, it helps in reducing the amount of water wasted + makes area safer too.
3. Increase the garbage bags. We had no grey bags and not enough organic bags. There was no organic bin. We ended using one of the bowls.
4. No fans available. Not everyone can use the A/C due to health issues.
5. Please put in a dish drying rack. We ended using the dishwasher as a drying rack which doesn't make sense.
6. The kitchen needed a breakfast table/ an extra surface where to cook. We had visited another one of your homes and the kitchen was amazing. This one was a bit difficult to work in.
Thanks a lot for everything. It was enjoyable stay.
“Ta Tfiefa was very nice and we enjoyed a lovely weekend. As always with Baron Homes the place was spotlessly clean. it is what we like most about your properties. Even the pool water was very clean. One shortcoming on Ta Tfiefa was that there should be some curtains or shades in the living room as the sun rises in the morning exactly opposite the living room glass doors and it is very hot and uncomfortable. And a small note that we did not have garbage bags and dishwasher tablets. The rest was perfect and thank you. Keep up the good work.”

“Unfortunately (once again this year) we had problems with two fundamental services - Hot water in showers/taps and washing machine. I am always interested in investing in a getaway 3/4 times a year with Baron, however this is the second time in a row something so fundamental went wrong. I want to thank the team for fixing issues in a timely manner, however for the premium price being paid such problems should not happen if proper maintenance routines are in place.”

No fees charged for bookings cancelled within 48 hours of booking, not applicable for bookings done 48 hours from arrival date.
We strongly advise all guests to purchase travel insurance, in case of the unfortunate event in which you need to cancel your holiday.
All requests to cancel a booking must be made in writing and must be signed by the person who made the booking. You must then post or email the request to Baron Holiday Homes.
If your request to cancel your booking is received more than 180 days before the booking was due to start, we will refund your deposit in full.
Requests to cancel a booking received between 30 and 179 days before the booking was due to start will incur a penalty charge of 10% of the deposit. The remainder of the deposit will ONLY be refunded if the accommodation is re-let for the full period of the intended stay.
Requests to cancel a booking received less than 30 days before the booking was due to start, will incur a penalty charge of 10% of the whole amount already paid.

Infants and extra beds
All children are welcome.
Children under 2 years at check in, stay free of charge when sleeping with parents or in a baby cot. We can offer 1 baby cot free of charge, additional baby cots are charged at €5 per night (these will include bed linen and 2 towels)
Folding beds can be provided for you, at an extra charge of € 10 per night.
Any type of extra bed or child's cot/crib is subject to availability, which subsequently needs to be confirmed by management in writing. All requests must be made at least 1 week prior to your arrival date.
Pets are allowed on request and must be approved in writing, if approved there is € 15 per night fee, capped at € 45 total.
Parties/events are not allowed, under any circumstances.
The wonderful island of Gozo is a small tranquil place. In order to ensure you don’t disturb the local surroundings, we kindly recommend that you keep the volume down at all times - especially between 22:00 and 9am.
Environmental contribution (ECO tax)
The contribution is payable by all tourists who are 18 years or older irrespective of nationality (including locals). It amounts to €0.50 per person for each night payable in cash at check in, spent on the Maltese Islands at any type of accommodation. The contribution is capped at a maximum of €5 for each continuous stay. This applies also to twin-centre stays in Malta and Gozo.
Breakage waiver/Security deposit:
When checking in to your accommodation, a valid credit card is required; In order to complete one of the following two options to cover any damages caused during your stay:
From €120 to €285 per night
