Gozo is a fantastic year-round destination and now there’s another tempting reason to consider an off-peak break on our gorgeous island.
Thanks to a new government-backed scheme, off-peak visitors to Gozo in autumn/winter 2023-2024 can enjoy a 30% discount on their accommodation up to a maximum of €300. Which means you can book a longer stay with us for less.
So, if you’ve been thinking of booking an off-peak stay on Gozo then now is your chance to explore all that our island offers.
The scheme is being launched by The Ministry for Gozo and the Gozo Tourism Association (GTA). It allows visitors to stay on Gozo for a minimum of 10 nights between mid-October 2023 and mid-March 2024. And the good news is that Baron Holiday Homes is participating in this great promotion.
An extra 10% off for summer 2024 bookings
And what’s more if you book a discounted off-peak Gozo holiday with us you’ll be offered a further 10% discount voucher for your next Baron Holiday Homes booking, redeemable between May 2024 and September 2024. So you can enjoy two discounted Gozo holidays.
How the off-peak scheme works
Full Ts&Cs can be found on our website but here are the highlights:
-
To be eligible for the 30% off-peak discount you must book your accommodation directly through the Baron Holiday Homes’ website – not via a third-party online booking platform.
-
The reservation must be for a minimum 10-night stay.
-
The first day of the reservation must fall between 15 October 2023 and 15 March 2024.
-
You must make the booking between 15 July 2023 and 1 March 2024 (both days included).
-
The overall discount is calculated at 30% of the total accommodation cost per reservation up to a maximum of €300.
-
Importantly – you must provide a copy of your flight tickets* (both arrival and departure) to Baron Holiday Homes when you check out.
*pdfs of boarding passes will be accepted via email
And then after you’ve enjoyed your off-peak holiday with us on Gozo, we’ll email you a voucher up to 30 days after check out that will entitle you to a 10% discount on your next booking with us provided it falls between May 2024 and September 2024.
Things to do and see on an extended off-peak stay on Gozo

You might have already enjoyed a wonderful summer holiday on Gozo. The mixture of sun, sea and chilling by the pool in your Baron Holiday Home is certainly hard to beat. But Gozo has much to offer visitors all year round. And this new off-peak scheme gives you yet another great reason to visit Gozo.
The off-peak season is especially attractive to people who prefer to avoid the heat of summer and are perhaps not tied to taking a break during the school holidays. And off-peak flights to Malta are generally cheaper too.
It never gets really cold on Gozo even in the winter. And the spring and autumn are usually delightfully balmy. This means you can explore Gozo’s fabulous coastline, countryside and culture in comfort. See our Things To See In Gozo for further information.
Sea temperatures are at their peak in autumn, so you can still indulge in swimming, snorkelling and various water sports. And adventurous, active types can go hiking, cycling, rock climbing and scuba diving – to name just a few of the many things to do on Gozo.
And last – but certainly not least – Gozo has a lively annual calendar of music and other cultural events to dip into, from opera and food to the unique Spontaneous Carnival in Nadur.
